Advanced Life Support (ALS)

MedCare Ambulance ALS units boast state-of-the-art equipment and are staffed by advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified paramedics. ALS paramedics are able to operate mechanized ventilators, 12 lead ECG monitors, SpO2 monitors, and can perform a host of advanced procedures in the field. In addition to advanced airway management, ACLS certified paramedics can perform intraosseous needle placements, surgical cricothyrotomies and external pacing.
